Landed on the fence of a families home in Reseda, CA by Saticoy & Tampa approx.

Very friendly. Talkative, says words like: “Polly want a cracker”, “Hello” repeatedly and the usual grey type whistles and clicks. The husband recorded the birds sounds.

The family said the bird sat for hours on the fence sitting, talking and whistling up a storm. He was last seen yesterday May 23 at 9:30PM. At last check for the bird.

The family gave the bird a cracker and states, the parrot coo’d / googled as if it was ok to feed him one. The cracker was too big and kept falling out of his foot grasp. She broke it up for him but I doesn’t think he ate it.

The parrot kept turning his head around almost looked upside down, perhaps to see us better. He was certainly communicating with us.

That is all I have. The woman who saw the bird in her front yard said she would call me if this bird returns. If this happens, I will update.
