Have you lost your parakeet?
I found a parakeet in my backyard yesterday. He’s a little beat up from some negative encounters with the wild birds, but he’s doing much better now that he’s inside, warm and fed.
Very friendly little guy, obviously someone’s pet as he perches and ladders (steps up when you place a finger to his chest) on people and doesn’t attempt to bite or scratch.
If you’ve lost your pet, please send me an email with a description of the bird. If it matches, I will get in contact with you in order to return the bird to you.
If no one claims this lil’ guy, he’s going to need a new home. So if anyone is interested in providing it a permanent home, let me know!
