Thanks for the note. The poor bird was practically asking us for help…squawking at us and landing on my husband! We gave it water & a banana right away, which it seemed grateful for. It also seemed exhausted and appreciative of a safe place to sleep. I’m sure it had quite an adventure!
And best of all…Bailey the Sun Conure was claimed by his rightful owner last night. They were able to supply a video and identifying information. They live just 1 mile away. The parrot was clearly excited to see the owners when they arrived, and the owners were in tears. A happy ending!
