My wife and I have heard a loud squawking the two previous late afternoons. On Friday afternoon, I heard then saw a bird flying overhead that I recognized to be a parrot.
I saw it land in the tree across from our house. It stayed there for about 15 minutes till it flew away when I wasn’t looking.
I identified it as an Indian Ring-neck Parakeet, blue in color, red bill, red around the eyes. The parakeet looks in good shape.
