If anyone could please watch out for our precious daughter’s pet cockatiel? Her name is Stella and she flew off today (7/21/2014). We searched for hours and couldn’t catch up to her. She was in the vicinity of Hooper Landings and we also heard her out by the church on 5600 S and 4700 W in Hooper, but obviously ANYWHERE in the Hooper area (we’re hoping she stays to locate her) So anywhere within a few blocks of our home. She was flying around with some little birds and going to rooftops (trees I’m sure too) and just flying all over from about 4800 S (between 4300 W and 5100 W).

She whistles a unique sound that is not like the usual song birds. She also whistles the “wolf whistle” http://audiojungle.net/item/wolf-whistle/136

Jayci is just devastated and has been in tears and she is the sweetest bird. Jayci saved up her Christmas money, birthday money and such to purchase her. She loves to have her neck rubbed, loves to snuggle, she will hang out on your shoulder and loves to give kisses. She is only 3 and it just makes us sick seeing Jayci so sad about this. She had cried all day today and just wants her bird back.

We are so worried about her well-being because of all the fireworks with the upcoming holiday and such. My heart just cries for her.

If anyone would please be so kind as to watch out for her and try to reach us if you find her, we’d appreciate it.

Our home # is 801-663-3984 and Jason’s number is 801-663-3274
My number is 801-663-6649 but it is broken to where I can’t use it at all, but I will be checking my voice mail often, so PLEASE leave a message.
