FOUND MAESTRO! The yellow tiel is home tonight, June 7. He was found on our street, one block over. He jumped down from a fence, walked up to a friendly dog, and the dog alerted his owner. If you live in the lower Mills Estate area on the Millbrae/Burlingame border, please check your yards for Harpo. He is probably on Ashton, Castenada, or very close by. Please let me know if you see Harpo. He must be out there and is all alone. 650-678-4097.

Please be on the look out for these two guys. They haven’t eaten for two days. They left on Sunday afternoon, and we found them by whistling, but they didn’t want to come home at the time, and now we can’t find them. They could either be right in the Mills Estate hills or over on the Burlingame side near Trousdale, or they might be in the old section of town around Hillcrest. The gray one, especially, will eat bread and pasta, so lure him in with some seed, bread, pasta. Maestro, the yellow one, has a crooked toe (a Love Bird got him). He is very tame. A really nice guy. And if you sit down near a table and put food and water out, I’m sure he’ll come to you, or if close enough, he will get on your finger. If you get Maestro, the yellow one, you’ll easily get Harpo because he can’t live without Maestro. They like the tall trees. They’ll whistle back at you. Please contact the San Mateo Peninsula Humane Society if you see them and I don’t answer my email right away. The number there is (650) 340-7022.

Thank you. If you are in the neighborhood above Mills High, let me know, and we’ll come to you. Please try to spot them for me.

They will be so grounded!

These guys have been my birds for over 15 years. They are missed!
