Ernie the Amazon parrot has been found THANK YOU SOOO MUCH (city hieghts), Thank you sooooo much to everybody that offered advice on finding Ernie. I hope you’ll be happy to hear that our beloved bird is back at home in his giant cage with fresh food and water.We definately would wopuld not have seen our little guy again if it wasnt for tireless canvasing and a big reward. It was worth it. Ernie’s wings were clipped but they had grown out. We wont get lazy about that again.

Ernie is a healthy Lilac crowned Amazon. He disappeared on July 6th in the City Hieghts area. His wings were clipped but had grown out enough to fly a little. He is very sweet but doesnt like being touched on his back. He says rrrr000www! lots and the name Paul. He may not say much as he is probably pretty scared Unfortunately he is not banded or microchipped. Please, please report any sighting of anything closely resembling our Earnie. We mss him sooo much.
