Opal is a young female, seven and a half month old budgie. she escaped from her cage, and was carried outside of the house in a dog’s mouth (we think). She is white with gray markings, a light pink cere, and light cobalt markings on her lower belly, with a medium blue rump. Her tail feathers (when last seen) were clipped extremely short, within an inch of her body. She was lost in the Riverglen neighborhood of Riverview, FL. She might be wounded. She is skittish from humans, but if not startled, will most likely step up onto a bare hand held close to the ground.
