I wish I had found this great site under happier circumstances. We have lost Petey, our lovebird. He flew out with his brother, Sparkle. Sparkle was just recovered in Somerville (about 2 miles from our home). Petey is still missing. Unlike Sparkle, Petey is extremely shy, but he is otherwise very docile and loving and friendly. He lives for his brother, so it’s hard to picture him lost without him. If there is ANY chance you think you’ve seen a small green lovebird, please, please let us know. We will give a $200 reward. And we’ll be thankful for life! Pictured on the right is Sparkle, the lovebird. He looks exactly like Petey, except Petey’s head is mostly white and green (instead of red/pink). If you see him, he might seem conflicted as if he wants to jump on your shoulder, but is frightened. He might be coaxed in with loving “baby talk,” and whistling, etc. Any information will be very appreciated. Thank you so much. Todd and Lily
