REUNITED!!!

Dear Jamie,

Thank you very much for your kind e-mail and posting on Facebook, I really really appreciate it. After a heart-rending 24 hours where we searched every conceivable street and back gardens in the direction I saw Peeps flying off in (West), I got a message at 11:20am this morning from someone who saw our lost pet notice on Gumtree. Apparently she flew roughly a mile west over a 6 hour period eventually coming to land on a balcony on the 13th floor of an apartment block at 7pm. Considering the cold and rain in London and the number of large predatory Crows and Magpies I’m astounded we’ve got her back, but here she is safe and sound without a mark on her.

Again thanks for your posting and the crucial service you run. We ended up posting everywhere and it really paid off.

Best wishes

Cy Elliott-Smith

Our bird escaped on the morning of 14/01/17. Shs’s a white faced cockatiel with gray wings and markings. She answers to the name Peepster- And is named that because of the ‘Peep weep’ call she makes. She makes a high pitch ‘PEEP’ if alarmed. She has a very sweet nature and has not bitten once so please don’t be afraid of handling her. She eats tons so food would be the best way to entice her. We’re devastated she’s gone.
