REUNITED

From family-Ok so I know that it’s kinda a late update but I FOUND MY BABY! Story time: for those who don’t know I lost my African Grey, Cookie on July 4 due to fireworks. After a long, hard two weeks without him, I finally found him. My family and I usually take walks after dinner, so around 7 ish. I would always bring his bell and ring it while walking. I would yell out his name as well. That night we decided to take a different route and when I passed by a house, I heard my bird screaming. At that moment I knew for sure that it was my grey that was screaming. I rang their doorbell who knows how many times and finally a guy answers. I ask him if he had a parrot that was grey and red in his house. He replies with, “No. I’m sorry. “ and he quickly closes the door but before he did, I pushed it open and said that I heard my bird in his house. After an awkward moment he opens the door and there I saw my grey locked in a cage. Fast forward… my baby is back home and is happy as ever! Thank you for all those who helped me along my hard journey! For those who just lost their parrot, don’t give up hope and stay positive. Your feathered friend will come back! I promise.

Cookie recently escaped on the 4th of July. He was frightened by the fireworks and flew away. He was last seen in Chino Hills, California; specifically Fairfield Ranch. If your have seen my bird please call me @ (909)438-5004.
