GREEN CHEEKED CONURE: “Simone”. Missing since March 25, 2015. Flew from corner of Crestview and Atkins Rd., E. Sandwich, MA. Approx. 8-10 inches long, head to tail. Green body, grey head, blue and green on wings, red chest, white eye ring and a LONG maroon red tail. She is fully winged and will fly to shoulders, especially if one is eating. Familiar sound from humans is a “tsh tsh” or clucking sound, or the sound of a kiss, because she makes both of those sounds herself. She also lets out with a loud, singular “chirp”, two or three in a row, when excited. Please let us know should she turn up at your feeder, yard, or on your shoulder. Her first night out was around 30 degrees and we don’t know if she made it, but we miss her terribly and are hoping for a miracle.
She is wearing a leg band with first three letters HJV. She came from a place like PetSmart and I doubt she was micro chipped.
