Reunited Aug 3-15….was found 1.7 miles away…..landed next to a recycling place
Vet check, no problems noted…..he did fall asleep on water faucet when found

Gary is an African Grey Timneh Parrot and is all grey with white around his eyes and stomach. He has a bracelet on his foot. He has dark red tail feathers. He can call out his owners name “Bobby” and can say his own name.
Gary escaped from his travel cage. The cage was on the back deck and I heard him flap his wings when I was washing out his water bowl. About 10 seconds later I came out and he was gone. I did not see which way he flew and it was starting to get dark at that point. There is nothing but a wooded area behind our house. There are no street lights. He will usually respond if I call his name or whistle but there has been no response since he left 3 days ago July 29, 2015 at 8pm. Every day I have been searching for him walking miles through our woods and on the streets around our neighborhood.
