I posted to Craigslist and within 20 minutes a girl called. She sent me pictures she had and although she hadn’t kept a record of the full band number she had a picture that had 3 of the numbers and we had a match. Plus she only lived 4 blocks away. It was so cute she and her father came over with the cage including another conure (she had bought a pair) and as soon as she came in the two birds started calling each other and as soon as she put the bird I found in the cage they began kissing each other (ahhh….). Couldn’t have been a better ending to something that could have been so sad!
