  • Date Lost: October 6, 2011

4 year old female white capped pionus that escaped from her home in the condo complex next to the UFA in Airdrie (567 Edmonton Trail NE) on the evening of October 6th at approximately 8:30 pm. She is fully flighted, and most likely extremely scared.

She is a mix of blue and green, with brown wings, and a bright white patch on her forehead. She may or may not be friendly; if she is not friendly, she is most likely scared. She responds best to “Opee-chan” and LOVES loud whistling and peanuts in the shell.

She is like family, and I desperately want her back. She has a thin silver band on her left leg and I can identify her by her band number. Call us night or day will have my phone on night and day. Please don’t hesitate to call even if you THINK you see a bird that might be her.
