July 28-14 if you are in the TROY, STERLING HEIGHTS, CLAWSON or ROYAL OAK area and know of or hear of a friend who recently (since June 28) purchased a cage from PetSmart at BigBeaver and Rochester Road in Troy or heard of someone who found a bird at a park at or near the Troy area, please have them contact us. We are interested in talking with them about their found bird. Please continue to share Sweetie’s story. The more people that are aware of Sweetie, the harder it will be for someone to keep her.

July 21 – Today we received a promising lead from a family in Rochester in the Hamlin and Livernois Road area, who believe they have seen Sweetie at their bird feeder a couple times each day over the last couple of weeks. We spent most of the evening camped out in the yard waiting for a sighting and while we twice had sight of a larger yellow bird that reminds us of Sweetie, our visual was not concrete enough for us to say this bird is Sweetie. We are encouraged and left a carrier with the family who is watching the feeder for her. They are monitoring her routine, if any, and will try to photograph her to try to get a positive identification. We will return on a continuing basis until we can rule this lead out. In the meantime, we are asking peeps in the Rochester, Rochester Hills, and Auburn Hills area to circulate our flyer so get more eyes to the sky for additional sightings if possible. As always, thank you for your continued outpouring of assistance, support and love in trying to reunite Sweetie with her flock!
JULY 15-14 STILL MISSING
Sweetie is yellow with grey on her shoulders. She is very friendly and will come to people if called. She will land on your shoulders or your head if you are calm.
