Charlottetown police are on the hunt for an exotic bird.
Staff at Pets Unlimited in Charlottetown contacted police on Tuesday after the yellow-sided conure went missing.
Staff believe the bird was stolen sometime between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday night.
The bird is valued at about $450.
The yellow-sided conure is native to parts of Brazil, Bolivia and Argentina.
Police want to bird returned. They say if it’s set free, it will not survive the winter weather.
