Hello and thank you in advance for any help; I’m devasted to be posting here😭, as I could not have imagined that today I would lose one of my best friends, she is not only a friend but also helps as my service companion for ptsd, she was also a friend to my grandmother who recently passed away making the loss that much more difficult; her name is bamboo, she is a Hahn’s macaw or mini macaw or guacamayo pequeña in Spanish, she is bright green with red shoulders and is fully feathered, I say this because in the picture she was going through a bout of feather picking on her right leg but all of her feathers have grown back, she is a little shy around strangers & might bite so please BE CAREFUL; she responds to the words kitty kitty & will respond “MEOW” & vice versa if you say “MEOW” she will say “kitty kitty”, she also makes a monkey sound because she loves to watch a certain curious little monkey on pbs & if drinking water she’ll sometimes say “WATER” as she’s drinking & if she’s in a good mood she’ll also say bonjour & she might raise her wings if you tell her “wings up” & then say “WOW”; she is banded on her left foot (owner will supply complete band information) I can’t express the devastation this has caused & will be eternally grateful for any information in helping me locate her.
