Lost my best friend Lurch, a Maxi Pionus Parrot. He was in a large fir tree way up for 2 days and as far as I can tell he flew to another bunch of trees nearby today but haven’t heard him call or make noise since I got home. He’s medium sized green with a red rump area and white eye rings with very dark brown eyes.
I had him in sight for two days but he wouldn’t come down from his tree even though he wanted to.
He’s still out there somewhere, hoping someone has found him at this point. Last he was seen was around 126th and Cora in the large pine trees in the area on the south side.
Who knows where he ended up now but if he hasn’t gone to someone he’s probably in the big trees in the area.
He also talks and says Hi, Hello, Good morning baby boy, hi sweet heart, what are you doing etc
He likes junk food, drinks water from coffee cups, loves Nutri Berries and walnuts, knows what a fast food drink carrier looks like and will want to share.
He talks when he gets excited too.
