Kiwi is a rose breasted cockatoo who flew away while we were trying to get him back in his cage at the Tavares Exit on the Florida Turnpike.
He is not a strong flyer, but went up a hill near the exit into a tree about 30 feet high, and wouldn’t fly down to us because he was so frightened.
It was getting dark and we went back to the same place in the morning, no trace of him.
He’s always been an indoor bird, so we are worried sick about him and his ability to fend for himself.
There is a reward if we can get him back, no band, dark rose breast. Very timid around strangers
