Found Parakeet / Budgie (Rancho Bernardo), Found a parakeet with orange band around its leg in the Rancho Bernardo area on 9/12/11. Wings were not clipped, and it’s a male, probably about 4+ months old, somwhat tame (set out food and coaxed it into my hand after a harrowing chase up and down trees and bushes). If you have lost a parakeet in the Penasquitos, Rancho Bernardo, 4S, Escondido, Poway, etc. area recently, email me with a description and I’ll send you back a picture if it sounds like I have your bird!
