Exotic pheasant the size of a chicken, with deep colored body, walked onto our property in Western Hills Estates area (Mandarin Road) of Yucca Valley, and has been hanging around our door for two days. It appears to be quite well, except for a slight limp and some missing tail feathers. We leave it bird food and fresh water, and it flies off after feeding and resting in early morning and evening. Gives the feeling it’s very comfortable around humans, and I assume is a pet. bugcer-at-yahoo.com
