I found this lovely bright yellow dead parakeet laying on the road while I was walking my dogs.
I took it home to bury it as it was so dear and was probably someones loved pet.
As I placed in on a soft, fuzzy leave to place in the hole, I discovered it had a band on it’s foot.
I removed it and wrote down the numbers hoping to contact it’s family.
It was a beautiful little thing and apparently had flown into something and had a broken neck.
I buried it next to my beloved guinea pig.
