This green bird was found on Teal Lake about 20 miles east of Hayward, Wisconsin. The bird is green with a red and yellow highlights on its wings. Its beak is mottled gray and it has a purple ring tag on its right foot. I believe the tag reads [# on file with 911PA] but it is difficult to read. The bird flew down from a tree and landed on my shoulder when presented with a cracker. . . it has not left since. 😉 It is very personable and is not spooked by children, dogs or people. Help!
