he whistles two specific things which we will not disclose as the owner would know this.
On October 15th we came home to a normal grey cockatiel on our front porch. We believe it is a male and his wings are not clipped. He does sing/chirp and is very friendly. We have been taking care of him and want to be sure he goes to his rightful owner.

Found Cockatiel, Came home on Saturday afternoon and found a cockatiel sitting on my front porch. I have hung a couple signs and have contacted animal shelters, vets and have been looking on Craigslist in case anyone is looking for this bird. You must give detailed description, pictures would be great and also tell us it's gender and any defining features. We would also like to know your location so we can determine if it could even possibly be your bird given when it was found and how far they can travel on any given day.
We have been hesitant to make a posting like this as we want to make sure this bird is returned to its RIGHTFUL owner….not just anyone. We will not return the bird if we are not 100% confident that you are the true owner. The cockatiel is being very well taken care of by myself and my family right now. Please reply to this post if you lost your cockatiel recently. We really do want to find the owner of this wonderful tiel.
