Finn the Friendly Parakeet
Well-traveled bird comes with a unique story.

Finn was found stranded on Captain’s Island.

Meet Finn, an adoptable parakeet taking up temporary residence at Animal Control in Greenwich. Finn is young and fairly quiet. If you’re considering adding a bird to your menagerie, why not rescue Finn and have a great story to tell your friends.

With his aqua blue and yellow feathers, Finn was easy to spot when he arrived at Captain’s Island. A Good Samaritan who thought the bird fit the description of a different lost parakeet brought him to Animal Control. Alas, Finn wasn’t the lost pet being searched for.

If you’re interested in meeting Finn the friendly parakeet, call Animal Control at (203) 622-8299.

The facility, located at 393 North St., is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; and 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Please call ahead to arrange a mutually convenient appointment.
