Midori is a Meyer’s parrot with a grey throat, back and head. She has a patch of yellow on her head near the top of her beak, and also at the tops of her wings. Her belly is green as well as her lower back above her tail feathers. When she extends her wings, you can see a mixture of green and blue on her back/lower back. She is an average sized Meyer’s about 21cm (8.2 inches) long and 3.5 – 4.7oz.

MIdori was lost on the corner of Vanalden Ave and Wyandotte St, flying toward Sherman Way on Friday 1.27.12. She chirps, makes beeper ringing noises, whistles/cat calls, meows like a cat, and whimpers like a puppy. She imitates the signal of the crossing street light (the noise it makes to countdown how much time you have left to cross a busy street) and really enjoys hanging upside down like a bat swinging side to side. We also call to her as Pretty Bird!!! If found please PLEASE call/txt 805.469.3676 or email at c_prado23-at-yahoo.com. REWARD offered!!
