I lost three parakeets on Thursday evening, 9/8/11, in the area of E. 14th Street and 135th Street, near San Leandro Blvd, in San Leandro. Their large flight cage got pushed off the table and overturned by one of my dogs. One of the four birds was still in the cage when I got back that night, but three are missing and flew out through an open window. Here is a photo of two of the birds, one female (white with blue) and one male (green with yellow). The blue and white one is over 13 years old. I have had her for over 11 years. The third bird, a female, is almost all blue with a white head. Her blue is almost a purple. I don’t have a photo of her since I only recently adopted her from a shelter.Flyers are up in the area and I am visiting the Fremont and Hayward shelters on Saturday.Since they are pets, they may be visiting bird feeders or other bird cages in the area. Please keep an eye out for them. When they are in their cage, they are big singers and chirpers, so they might start to make noise if they find a comfortable place. They have had some hand taming, but it has been a while since I worked with them.

If they are seen, please contact me anytime at 510/415-6185 or at the above email address.

Thanks!
