A friend accidentally left the door open for just a moment that allowed JP, my cockateil, to fly out! I believe she was startled and did not mean to leave. She’s been hand raised by me and has never bitten a soul. JP has never known what it was like to survive on her own. She has been hand raised and does not understand the concept of danger. We are heartbroken without her. She might respond to a “JPeee”, “Baby bird” or “Crreeooouu” in a falsetto female voice.
