Hi everyone,
My 2 budgies; Coco and Linda have escaped my aviary today July 12 2012 in the morning. Apparently I was a few seconds too late.
I have pics and videos to prove ownership.
Reward offered for found budgie(s)
Description of missing birds:
2 budgies/parakeets.
Coco is a female. She is coming out of breeding condition and her cere is changing colours.
Coco is also moulting and has several pinnies on her head.
Coco is a young female bird approximately 11 months old.
Coco is mixed from an English budgie and an American Parakeet. She is slightly bigger than the normal smaller American Parakeets.
Coco has an aqua coloured belly and a white head. Fully flighted.
Update: Coco may have been sighted in the Steveston area. We live at the Williams and Gilbert area. If it indeed was her, then she flew some distance and may be anywhere. Please check.
Linda is a female parakeet. She is also coming out of breeding condition and her cere is also changing colours.
Linda is a young female budgie, approximately 1-2 years old.
She has a blue/green mix coloured body with a yellow head.
She is growing out her feathers and is NOT fully flighted, but can fly enough to get away.
She is believed to be with an egg inside as I caught her mating with a male a few days ago.
Linda sometimes makes a funny noise when she flies, it’s like “tee tee tee tee”Neither budgies are banded or microchipped.
None talk, but have male partners who are missing them very much.
Both Coco and Linda require continuing care with an avian specialist. They require medication regularly.

I do not breed my budgies, I keep them as pets and had my dad and husband build an aviary so they could enjoy the outside weather during the Spring and Summer months. If you have my budgie or budgies, please please contact me as I love all of them very much and miss them dearly. It appears Coco and Linda escaped through the wire mesh in my aviary. Unfortunately, my other baby budgie Hercules appears to have followed them and was caught by the next door neighbours cat. 🙁 My resident senior budgie just passed away last week and I am still grieving her and now this happens.
Please keep an eye out, check your backyards, trees etc.

If you have found them and do not want to give them up because you’ve always wanted a budgie and opportunity knocked..well I can buy you a budgie! Any colour! Just give me back mine. Anonymity is fine. No questions asked.
