Max is a whiteface pearl male approximately one and a half years old. He has lost his pearling as male pearls do, however, you can still see his dapples on his chest. He has a white face with no orange cheeks. He is a little larger than average with quite a bit of white banding on his wings. Max is very mischevious and can be a real clown as he loves to climb and slide down the bars of his cage. He loves to be out with us and spends all of his time with us as we wheel his cage from bedroom to living room every day. He is really bonded to me and follows me around the house. He is very “male”, strutting his stuff with his wings puffed out much of the time, chortling and getting a tad aggresive towards everyone else but me at times. He is a strong flyer and continued to fly even with his wings clipped. He can be so sweet and affectionate and loves to give me kisses and cuddles in the evening as we watch tv together. He is a good whistler and bursts into song much of the time. He will combine the tunes we teach him and come up with his own rendition. He loves to whistle a simple tune, cock his head to hear us whistle it back and then he will make the next tune a little longer, a lttle more difficult to see if we can repeat it. We love him dearly and have fun with him.
