Comments: It has now been 7 months since our precious cockatiel,
Sydney, accidently got out through a door left open and flew off. I
cannot describe how much I have grieved. It has haunted me. I
cannot drive anywhere; I cannot do anything without looking up in the
trees and scanning the skies and yards for my little buddy. I am
tormented with not knowing what has happened to him. I have put
posters everywhere, called vets, rescue organizations, shelters, pet
stores, advertised and searched lost and found web sites as far away
as 200 miles. With winter weather I pray someone has him safe and
warm. He was our funny little guy who used to ride around and
“help”me with household chores, singing and whistling away. We loved
him so much; we still love him and miss him. The best Christmas
present I could have would be if Sydney would come home.
