Lost Congo African Grey Parrot “Joey” Indianapolis, Indiana 10/31/2012
Joey flew out Halloween evening in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Indianapolis. It is part of Broad Ripple and is near the intersection of College and Kessler. 24 hours later (Nov 1st at 5pm), he was spotted flying to a small tree next to a front door only 1 block away. A thorough search has failed to find him. However, the entire neighborhood has been alerted. He is a typical Congo African Grey, 9″ long. His beak is a bit more humped and larger than many African Greys.
