I can’t thank you enough for the well wishes and tips. This email has been in my spam box and I’m just going through it but I’ve found my baby!!!

I was in the woods behind my home calling for her and she was in the next development over and must have been able to hear me because she kept diving out of a tree trying to land on a woman’s shoulder when another woman saw this from her window and thought it didn’t look like Gordy was attacking her and so she went outside to lend her finder and Gordy just climbed up her shoulder.

She took her in her home and noticed the band on her leg and immediately went to the Southern MD Human Society’s website of lost pets and saw her pic and called me from the posting while I was in the woods calling.

I just couldn’t believe I would see her only 3 days after she went missing.

My husband tried to surprise me by cleaning her cage before I came home from work and when he went to take the cage to the garage, the top somehow popped open and she flew like the wind.

I’m so happy and grateful to have her home but those were the 3 most miserable days I’ve had in years just imagining her out in the wilderness alone, not able to fend for herself or find food and water.

Thank you again for your well wishes and I am just exstatic to have her back home.
