Morning of June 1 our very tame lutino (pale yellow) cockatiel “Daisy” escaped our home on Elton Hwy in Tipton. She flew straight up, very, very high, circling and disappeared from sight behind tall trees, heading toward BeeBee Rd, maybe. Daisy is pale yellow with some darker yellow markings on both shoulders and she has round orange cheek spots. She is not banded. She is very tame (we hand raised her) and might even land on your head or your hand if you call her and put your arm up in the air with your hand out flat. However, she has never been outside in her short life and must be terribly frightened, and hungry. She is more than just a pet, she’s our feathered-kid and we are heartbroken that she is gone and worried sick about her. If you catch her or even spot her, please call us right away.
