I put her in her leash this afternoon getting ready for a car ride as she seldom gets to go out with me. In the car, she slipped the leash and flew off over my housing area, chirping loudly, but refusing to come back. She’s a two month old Cockatiel, the picture below is her last month before her head feathers grew in. She is mostly gray – domesticated and very friendly.
My wife and I are heartbroken and hoping for a happy ending.
