He is a little over a year old. Generally friendly, but as most parrots, selective on who picks him up. However, if he is on the ground, anyone can ask him to step up and get him to a perch. The kids left the door open, his bonded owner (my son) went to pick him up, I guess he noticed the open door and he took off. I lost track of him after I ran around the house watching him fly off. His wings were clipped a month ago, but obviously others grew back. He says “Birdy” “Birdy-Bird” whistles and a variety of other unintelligible sounds that my son taught him.
