i reported my lost bird on here, and now i have found him

loki has a broken left back toe, that cant bend or grip, and a breeder band. his left foot is also a little scarred from a stove mishap. he answers to loki, or whistles, or birdah, or hey, sweetie! his wings are intact, and his feathers are very healthy and shiny. the door got left open as someone was vacuuming, and he flew away free into the sky. flight trajectory placed him landing in the tallest trees in the neighborhood, and also, agitated crows led me to his spot. i went to the area, and i saw him and he answered my whistles but then i lost track of him. he also flew over my and the property owner’s head at one point. he was last seen and heard for sure in the 1.5 acre tall tree overgrown plot a block to the south of our house. (the person who owns this plot was born there in 1932 and intends to keeps it as is. there used to be dairy farms and woods out here.) anyway, i have seen and heard him in the high damned trees, but he hasnt come down. my hope is that cold night without food and water and cuddles will lure him down. im pretty sure he can survive the night, but he has been family for 16 years and im worried about him. if you see him, or have any ideas about how to get a ridiculous bird out of seriously tall trees, please help. i love him. he cant survive on his own, no one ever told him how, being captive bred.
