Dear Retta,
Thank you so much for your response . And would you believe I found my bird.Had it not been for the inspirational story of a parrot owner whose
bird she lost and found 3 times and how she did it. We whistled while we searched the 3rd time and this time with me around and my husband who hardly whistles as
we distribute flyers in my neighborhood’s mailboxes. When I coached my husband to whistle more and we’re further away the next block a tweet came the response
and so delighted to hear it. We knew it was him. Crossed that street to where we heard that sound and when I looked down, there he was below the bushes appearing
tired and also delighted to see us. And when I returned to the spot to find out how far away he was, found out that not only is he 1 block and about 4 houses away across us,
but he went to the hse with the same no as ours and the same color , too. I couldn’t imagine my life w/o my precious Codie who comes to us so easily , makes us smile with
his whiste because he makes it cuter to hear than what we thought him. He was more than 3 yrs. w/ us. Again, thank you so much for the response.
