How do I add/ change my listing about my lost parakeet Georgie Sunshine? I want to let people know we were reunited after 19 days of him missing on the evening of September 9th. He was spotted at an elementary school a quarter mile from our house hopping on and riding on cars that were there to pick up kids. A woman had seen our posters and called us. He had disappeared onto the school roof by the time we got there but she called a couple hours later to tell us he was down on the playground of the school. We were able to catch him. We were so happy to see him again and have him back. He seemed tired but was eating and drinking. He played with his favorite toy briefly and just wanted to sleep. He passed away about 7 hours after we got him back. His respiration seemed a little on the fast side and we planned to bring him to the vet in the morning. We didn’t realize he was so bad off or we would have gone to an emergency vet. We might have had a different outcome if we had. We are so grateful he made it home first, that we got to see him and love on him one more time and that he passed peacefully in his own home. We are so grateful to the woman named Wendy who took the trouble to go back to her neighborhood, find our sign, call us and then continue looking and call us again!

Georgie Sunshine is the bird on the right that is light blue with a yellow head. He also has yellow tail feathers if you look underneath. He is young so after his baby molt he might be a different shade of blue. We miss him and are worried about him (we think he is a boy)
