“He’s home! Thank you for taking the time to send me this info.  Facebook works miracles! He was found before I had the chance to fill this out but it’s definitely good to know!”
More details: “About a half mile. I just cannot believe he survived the cold weather last night! We live in Midwestern Wisconsin and it got down to 28 degrees last night. We’re so grateful he’s home. My mother got on facebook last night, joined her neighborhood page and posted about him getting out and shared a picture with our phone numbers. After biking up to her house and in the process of making my flyers this morning, I got a call from a very friendly lady who didn’t even have to say a word because he squawked before I said hello.  LOL She said she heard an unusual squawk unlike any other bird when she went out for her run and looked around and he was across the street on a roof. She said he looked rite at her flew to her roof than down onto her truck so she walked up and stuck her hand out to see if he’d hop on and he didn’t so she just kinda grabbed him and took him in the house. After visiting 10 neighbors the last person told her to check the neighborhood fan page to see if anyone posted about a missing bird… her exact words in telling me this story “and there it was, a post about this missing bird” That’s our missing birdie story, with a happy ending 🙂 “
