Am emailing you to give you updated contact information should there ever be any sightings or possibly the finding of Diablo our orange-winged amazon. I know it has been a lot of years but I have never given up hope and never will.

Our 2 year old Orange-winged Amazon Parrot named Diablo is missing
and we miss him dreadfully. The landlord let him out the door 5 days
ago and he has only been seen once since. I followed him to a tree and
could not get up high enough to get him, and I could not get any of
the emergency services to help. I have been wandering through the
neighbourhood ringing his bell and the telephone which he imitates
perfectly. I have checked all the open barns and sheds within a 7
block area, phoned all the pet stores, SPCA, put up ads and talked
to everyone who would listen. Diablo is multishades of green with a
blue band around his eyes rimmed by yellow, He has bright multicoloured feathers
along his wings. He speaks very well with a
vocabulary of about 150 phrases but calls most predominantly for
Trevor which sometimes sounds like “rever”. He says hello, how are you, I am a
good boy, I am the bird, Pet the bird and many other things.
He loves coffee and toast in the mornings and will argue and cuss at
you over the coffee mug. He is a very bright bird and wears a
registration band on his right leg.
We have had Diablo since he was five months old and he earned the
name Diablo when we were trying to figure out what to name him.
Trevor was leaning towards Yago, and thought he was a girl. I however
was the first one he spoke to and the next morning he flew from his
cage to my shoulder helped himself to my coffee and when I tried to
tell him it was hot he promptly bit my ear so I named him Diablo, my
little devil bird and it stuck.
Diablo is very frightened of the colour purple. He was last seen in the
200 street and 24th avenue area of Langley. Anyone with any information of this
