Albirdo is a class pet who escaped from Atala Montessori School for Creative Expression in downtown Homestead during a fire drill. He was last seen flying north. We believe he is a young male, but we don’t know for sure. He has a white back, white/yellow breast feathers, yellow crest, and orange cheek patches. He chirps loudly at the sound of children’s voices and whistling. He likes having the top of his head scratched and will tilt his head toward soft things such as sweaters. He likes sunflower seeds and millet. He also chews paper. Please call the school phone at 786-738-1210 and/or contact me personally at 305-297-2289.
