I was biking with my parrot on my shoulder, on Ocean Parkway and Avenue F, in Brooklyn…when I got to my destination I realized the parrot was gone! It is a tree lined highway! I have looked everywhere…put up posters, etc. Called all the local News stations to broadcast my dilemma. I clip the flight feathers. Please help, thank you.

Captain, a green and yellow Amazon parrot is 25 years old and is missing somewhere in New York city.
Captain was riding on the shoulder of his owner, Allen Kirson, as they were bicycling through Brooklyn along Ocean Parkway in Kensington the day after Thanksgiving, according to ABC news.
Allen says that Captain loves to sing opera and performs at senior citizen homes and children’s hospitals. He also has a very large vocabulary.
“He talks, sings and dances. He has a huge vocabulary and loves to sing opera songs,” says Allen.
Allen and his ex-wife, Roberta Klein are offering a $200.00 reward. They are frantic and heartbroken and need to find him before the cold comes in that would be hazardous to Captain.
