Cali is a 8-year-old tame, indoor conure who accidentally escaped while I was cleaning his cage. He was last seen flying into a tall set of trees behind nearby houses on Sherbrooke Dr in Newport News where I cannot reach him. He did respond to my voice and moved between trees, but he is now silent and likely trying to stay safe.
He has never been outside before. The outdoor environment has him scared, confused, and disoriented. He is likely still in the area, perched up high, watching and waiting. Eventually he will get tired and hungry and try to come down.
Cali is very loved and missed. He may come down to someone calmly offering food or water. Please check your yards, trees, rooftops, and fences. Even a sighting will help.
