DISCALIMER: Skylar has been posted on Craiglist/Facebook/Pawboost/Neighbor/Nextdoor/local flyers since we lost sight of him on 12/19/25. He has been posted on most of those platform with a reward.
Skylar was lost in the Skye Canyon area on December 19th, 2025.
Skylar is IRN- light blue with long tail feathers, white underbelly, and yellow splotches. He is an adolescent and had no ring when he went missing. He has a leg band, but I’m not sure what the numbers on it are. He should respond to his name though as he has some recall training.
Skylar had gotten out of the house on 12/18 after dark. We had him in our sights on the following morning of 12/19 in trees near our home and had our eyes on him. However, he vanished at around 10:10:30am after flying behind a house and stopped calling back. He was too scared to fly down to the ground, even with treats, an open cage, his play perch, and our other IRN (in a cage) placed within his line of sight. He has been missing since and hasn’t responded to calls for him from anywhere in a half-mile radius. It has been chilly and raining most of the time he has been lost, so he could be ill and we are very worried.
Any information on his whereabouts is appreciated! We just want our baby home.
