I walked by and found a parrot eating grass, tried to pick him up, found that he had pink metal leg bracelet but didn’t have time to read the letters. He then escaped my hand and flew over the school fence. It looks like he may be a property of elementary school P.S. 038 George Cromwell of Staten island and may have escaped. I called the school and no one picked up since it’s a Saturday. I left messages. I hope something can be done and he can get back home safely.
