Bugsie is a 17-year-old male who flew off from our backyard this past Labor Day. He has been known to fly off on his previous owners, from whom we adopted him & his sister, but he’d always been recovered within a day or so, hiding about 5-6 feet off the ground in a tree. We have looked for him at length throughout our neighborhood to no avail. It is now our hope that he will be spotted by someone who takes the time to report it & seek us out. Bugsie makes a variety of sounds (barking dog, meowing cat, crowing rooster), squeaks, whistles (various snippets of tunes, like “Shave & a Haircut”), and speech (most commonly, “Wanna cracker!” in a grumpy old man’s voice, “wanna make a fart”, “want an apple”, “wanna go nite-nite”).
He has a leg band: HA TN xx xxx (I will supply the full number upon request).
