Today our two cockatiels flew away. They are beloved family pets, and we are very worried about them, they have never been outside and have no idea how to find food, water or about hazards. Sydney is 17 years old. He is a medium gray color body with white wing tips, yellow head with crest and bright orange cheeks. Daffy is about 4 years old, he is a darker gray color, a yellow head with crest and bright orange cheeks. They are friendly, a little bigger than a parakeet. We have had both of them since they were 6 weeks old, so they are like our children. Both talk, whistle and sing but they are probably frightened. If you see either one, unless he flies to you, please don’t try to grab either one, he will probably fly away from you. Just call us immediately if you see either of them. They may also be chirping very loudly, wondering where we are. They could be in Oak Creek or Cudahy, even farther, besides south milwaukee. Please call. If no answer, leave message.
