“Little Bird Bianco” is a small white/creamino bird (budgie grass parakeet) and he may be hiding in a hole in an oak tree on Argonne Street in Lakeview, where he was last sighted. He usually answers with a chirp or whistle if he hears his name “Little Bird Bianco”, or if someone whistles at him. He has been spotted more than 10 times within a one block radius of his outdoor play cage. His play cage is located outside in the backyard of the house 2 doors down from the corner of General Haig and Kennliworth. His family misses him, and he is on a special diet from his vet and needs to return home ASAP. Bianco has been in oak trees eating mostly ants, since his disappearance. His wings are clipped and not fully grown out, but he is flying just fine, especially if he is startled. Please attempt to not startle him if you see him. He may come to you if you call his name and say “step-up”, especially if you have bird seed or bread or a tortilla chip. In that case, please return him to his outdoor play cage. Otherwise, please encourage him to “stay” and contact me ASAP to come try to get him. He is not wearing his leg band, because he disliked the leg band, so I asked his vet to please remove it.
